From what I've seen, it's not the gentlemen who prefer blondes. It's the immature guys who are just looking to get laid that go after blondes. Most blondes aren't natural, and some girls start to act out the dumb blonde stereotype when they color their hair. The only kinda guys this works on is the jerks (you know the type). So naturally, these guys go for blondes. So it seems the real gentlemen go for other hair colors, which sucks when you're a natuarl blonde.

Well a gentleman won't care what a woman's hair color is.
Men, or, boys for that matter, may possibly prefer blondes because for a time, many women celebrities had blonde hair, which increased their popularity... not to mention blonde jokes insinuate that blondes are nothing but bimbos just waiting to get laid. So that sort of grew until it became assumed that all the guys want the blondes.

i dunno...but my best friend is engaged to a blond headed girl (my bff is a guy btw).
And he has been dating blondes for like...now less than a year...he used to date girls with different colors of hair.
I think some do prefer blonds...cuz some blonds can be just plain dumb.

I think it's because of the common saying "dumb blondes", which I don't necissarily agree with. They think that because someone is blonde, then they're dumb, which means they're easy. And if they really do only want a blonde, they're pretty shallow to only date someone for their hair color and aren't worth anyone's time.

No. I have always preffered redheads and brunettes. Then ravens. Natural blondes are ok, But nothing is a bigger turn off to me than a gal who bleaches perfectly good hair blonde.

Men vary, as does their taste in women. Some men prefer a certain hair color (different men, different colors), others are completely indifferent.

yep, blondes are prettier. redheads are nice too but they can be mean. Brunnettes are nice too but they always want to marry you.

actually no,guys just say dat cause most celebrities on tv are blonde or dye dere hair blode but when they fall in love it dont matter,it just depends on da guys type so dont worry just make your natural hair color shine!!!!!

OMg it is just the hair color of someone you can dye it any day goshh. its more about your facial features and all!! not about the freaken color of your hair!!there are a lot of blondes who are REALLY ugly !!
