Just be yourself, dude! Don't interrupt anyone. Don't try to bring all the attention to yourself. Listen to everyone and try to join in on the conversation when you can. I think the strong, silent and mysterious man will get the girl's attention rather than the man trying to be the *life* of the party.
Then, when you get to be more and more comfortable with these situations, then you can be the life of the party.

Act natural. if my guy friend (my dad won let me date him yet) hadnt acted like himself, i would have never gotten to know him. if girls dont like you for who you are, then they are stuck up snobs, because i am sure that you are a weet caringpeson!! good luck! and remember, they dont like for who you are, then screw them. they arent worth it!!!
