The carriage of Mobility Scooters is at the discretion of the Train Company, so you would need to contact them in advance to ask.

The Official answer is No . Basically if a wheelchair is bigger than a standard push wheel chair or it is not capable of being folded up then it does not travel. In practise it tends to be a little different. If the train is off peak and not too full then the guards tend to let them travel but it is very much at their discretion if they feel OK then they may let it travel. To be certain though you would be better getting a push wheel chair and getting some assistance from a train travel point of view
