My girlfriend and I have been "on the rocks" for a couple of months now. I really screwed up, and we're trying to work through it, but it's difficult. Essentially we aren't together right now, but we're trying to work through things to get back to a place where we can give this another shot. She decided that we can't plan on doing anything together for Valentine's Day or at least that she doesn't think we should. But obviously I still want to do something for her. I still want to do something for her despite not being able to spend the day/evening TOGETHER. What can I do besides drop off some roses and a card? What else can I give her? How else can I show her how special she is to me without being able to spend the evening cooking her dinner, etc? Please give me some ideas. I'm looking for special, reasonable ideas that would really make an impact and really touch her. Thanks everyone.

what you can give her right now is exactly what she is asking for. since you messed up you have to give her the space to figure things out and not crowd her...

I am sorry, but there is not much you can do. Sounds like she doesn't want to have you as her valentine. She wants to be left alone. I understand you want to make things better, but the more you try, the worse things will get. Dropping off flowers and a card is enough. Give her some space and time, and she will appreciate it. Good luck.

decide for IT!!! that's 2007, earlier you sit down and take into consideration basically tell her the style you sense...the following day isn't promised and our lives are like a vapour interior the wind. If she feels a similar way approximately you as you assert then date her. Worst element isn't acting on the style you sense and continually thinking "what if?"

leave her something that has a special importance in your relationship or a reminder of somewhere you went together and had a good time at like if you went to dinner at a nice restaurant then leave something that reminds her of that night together or something nice to bring up good memories you spent together, best wishes.
