My husband is a doctor and can be very stubborn about getting checked out. So, I'm looking for online alternitives to find out what might be wrong with him. So far, I looked on WebMD and there was really nothing there that could help me. Any other places that can be helpful? If anybody here is a doctor, his symptoms are, a constant pain in the muscles surrounding the kidneys and other back pain. He has had a pain in his chest around his lungs (He used to be a chain smoker but gave it up and also gave up recently Shisha or pipe smoking) He would be considered obese just by a few pounds. The doctors here that he went to a long time ago said that the weight was normal for his body structure. He did have pain in his chest and then down his left arm though it went away and he didn't worry about it since despite my warnings to get checked out.

He also seems to have trouble loosing weight, the diet here is mostly constricted to fried foods or restruant foods. My mom suggested a parasite that is associated with international travel but I'm not sure. He does have a slight weakness in his one leg but a month or so ago, he was stung by a scorpion but its venom is the weak kind, that would only give a fever and muscle tenderness, which he didn't suffer from any of them. My husband is in his early 30's.

My husband is not an idiot, he's just stubborn. He stopped all forms of smoking. We live in the Middle East, in Yemen and in our area there isn't much choice of food here except fried or from restruarants.

He doesn't seem obese when you look at him, he looks just the average overweight, but after using a BMI calculator online it said that he was obese.
