ok it's for simplifiing but why + not any other sign

Because "+" means that there is something else. Also because when call from the US it would be 011, and when you call Europe, Asia etc, it's 00.

Try Alt-43 on numeric keypad , alt-48-57 are 0-9, makes it geeky I guess.

so you would not forget to add the numbers needed for your international call to make the right connection

are you talking about international dialing codes

we need your country and the counrty you wish to dial to give you the prefix you need
