people that say the L7 are people who have never heard the Premiers. Pioneer has been kicking kickers a*s in the SPL comps for years. and this is no exception. the Pioneers are a better speaker all around. i'd go with Pioneer hands down.

both are equally good ..yeah equally good ..its a common thing ,the more u give the more u get..l5 and l7 is my preference(if theres no problem with space and setups).if there is i'll take pioneer..
the thing is both are good..its that kicker look more pleasing to eyes coz of its diff shape and grill.well u asked which need more power to hit hard..then its kicker.pioneer satifies itself even at lower rms...but with kicker u must give it atleast half its rms for it to start pounding..and its pound lil better than pioneer at there peak rms..
if u have good 1000 watt rms amp go kicker..if u have less tjhan 500 rms go pioneer.in the end depens on u and ur pocket ,space etc etc

the solo baric i wud deff. say needs more power..thats the thing with kicker, if u get a kicker sub and you want it to sound nice than be prepared to feed it the watts and once you do the L7 with blow you away man. if you go with the L7 put 1000 watt kicker amp to it..make sure its a good brand or u will mess the sub up, and break it in..kicker amps run at rms and lets jus say for an ex. xplod runs at peak. so when u think ur gettin a 1000 watt xplod amp ur not ur gettin a 500 watt amp and if that. get a good amp and wire it good with a cap. and u shud be amazed with it. hope that helps u man

contrary to popular belief pioneer has not been kicking everybodys
*!@ go to a competition and see whats going on not just running off at the mouth about something you read in a magazine.
kicker wins more events in more classes than anybody else period especially the sl715 it will not be as power hungry because the square design is more efficient . It will hit harder with less input .
