I live in Manassas and I've used the young men and women from this organization to help with our events several times. They're awesome! We're talking about a great way to meet quality individuals who are active and community oriented. They're not afraid of getting a little messy to help others and they're not so busy looking for Barbie/Ken in a bar that they're overlooking the decent guys and gals next door who are just not into the whole bar scene.
I'd encourage you to try this organization and I wish you the best of luck in your pursuit of a quality partner :)

Thing is they are all working hard and not hanging out in bars or nightclubs. I'm a guy who lives in northern virginia and realize this from experience and also realize that your complaint is so common. Women do seem to outnumber men.
Future minded, hardworking guys are getting out on weekends. So the story is the same...... take a class in something different and you will make new friends. Even new girlfriends that might know a guy from the office or something.
I once was talked into taking a Kayak class at whatever that marina that is on GW parkway on the virginia side. Not whitewater or anything...... just paddling around. The class was about equal male to female and was full of people who were the same. Just people who were tired of bars and wanted to get out and try something. It was great to be around people who all thought the same.
Now this may not be your bag but you get the idea...... you need to expand your social circle, have fun and the right guy will come along.
