"therapy" can be extremely hard work and many times can be mentally taxing on a person.
It is very common to feel this way. However, know this, accept the fact and go with the flow. It's worth becoming mentally healthy and a better person.
Pamper yourself with perhaps a massage or an afternoon of relaxation if need be to regenerate.

Yes. My last therapist was not at all empathic. She did not care and said cruel things. I kept thinking it was me. Finally I realized that she was a bad therapist and I stopped going. But it was hard.

Now, I am trying to a find a new therapist and I don't trust any of them.

if you have the unfortunate experience of seeing a therapist that is either unqualified or ethically inappropriate, it can create bigger problems. i once worked with a girl who had been sexually propositioned by her male therapist, for example, whose depression was greatly exacerbated by this. it's unfortunate but does happen. i'm sorry if this is your situation
