I rerely see dual sport motorcycles around here anymore. they are the types of bikes that are road legal but have high fenders and knobby tires for off roading too.. havent found any bike clubs solely for dual sport riders either.. any suggestions?

Dualsport motorcycles are very fun. I dont see why anyone would hesitate to ride one. They are pretty fast, and versatile as hell.

Harleys are too slow and heavy.
Crotchrockets are too fast and uncomfortable.
Dual sports are just plain FUN.

Look for a Motocross race near you. You should see a lot of dual sport bikes on the sidelines, and you will meet a lot of people that love trailbikes and dual-sports.

i'm a Yamaha fan yet I would desire to admit apparently to me like the Honda is a extra acceptable deal. i like the physique, inverted forks and the pro link suspension. The Honda seat top is two.5 in larger yet at 5'11" you may journey something accessible. No brainer to me get the Honda. I had an XT250 for a couple of minutes. It became a stable motorbike yet I by no ability have been given to journey a Honda so I cant evaluate them from adventure.

Carl is right, "hop on let's ride" does'nt know what he's talking about. I live near Oakland where the whole Hell's Angels thing started. You won't see any of them on anything other than a Harley. And if you try riding with them uninvited, it's a good way to get beat up...

I have a suggestion, try going to cars and tranportation/ motorcycles. This page is for bicycles...And BTW, Hell's Angels ONLY ride a Harley ! They would'nt be caught dead on anything else ! They have a saying "I'd rather push my Harley, than ride a Honda"...

Well, it's unlikely that you'll find the answer you want in the BICYCLING category.
