is it really that hard to add a "belly" at the beginning or is it too long of a word to say?

Yes in theory.... but the clitoris on a woman is known as a 'button (Usually 'love button'), so I wouldn't recommend it personally.

But if you want to call your navel that, go ahead. Just be prepared for funny looks and people being confused

I have never heard that before, so I doubt a lot of people use it. However if you do use it, it might confuse people and even make them think that you are referring to your bottom instead - button- bottom, people hear what they expect so I won't use it.

Um yeah I suppose? If you wanted to call it bubble gum that would be okay too. It's yours, call it whatever you want?
