well no time at all until it is cheese it isnt cheesy at all. If your question is really when does milk become cheese, well its as soon as it is put into its cheese mould (ie jelly goes in a jelly mould) before that it is simply chopped up curds. Hoever it will be a rather insipid bland cheese.Then the longer it is left to mature the more stronger the taste becoms

Wait until the cheese has really got a cheesy texture and then you will be cheesed off.

depends on your taste buds for some people mild or mature but for me to be a real cheese it needs to have a bite why pay dear prices for mild cheese when you can have something to enjoy like seriously strong cheddar or pilgrims cheddar well cheesy and strong.yum.and it has those like grains of salt texture then you know it's well cheesy.

It has to be reasonably solid, but the longer you leave it, the more mature it becomes, the stronger it tastes.
