A recent US report says `There is evidence of Iranian arms in Iraq`?

We saw exactly the same strategy being used by them 5 years ago before they attacked Iraq when they stated that there was evidence of weapons of mass destruction in the country.

If that madman Bush attacks Iran then the whole of the middle east will explode into war and then we will all be doomed.

From a Military/Political point of view why wouldn't Iran be supplying arms in Iraq? It makes so much sense to de-stabilise the area, makes the Yanks look like Twats and the Iranians look like the good guys. Simple
Why do we give a **** about Iran anyway? Iran is completely impotent as far as the West goes. I think its the US looking after it's little buddy Israel, who incidentally would not even exist if it wasn't for the USA. All this American blood shed for Israel and Oil, bizarre really. The evidence can be true. But why cry foul, instead of accepting what it is?. The U.S. did the same thing in the past, and everybody knows this. The U.S. supplied weapons to Saddam during the Iran-Iraq War. The U.S. sold huge quantities of weapons to Iran during the Iran-Contra deal. The U.S. supplied weapons to Afghan mujahedeens during the Soviet-Afghan War (including Stinger missiles that shot down Soviet helicopters).
So what's the big deal about the Iranian arms found in Iraq?. The U.S. is just getting a dose of its own medicine.

You left out one piece of important information. What US report says that there is no evidence of Iranian arms in Iraq. I have seen many identified arms with Iranian marks on them in Iraq. Not as many as Russian, French, or Chinese, but they are there.

Yeah probably but sooner or later the yanks will invade iran after pulling out of iraq and drag we brits with them and anyone else they can.
God save us when that happens i'm in the Armed forces and if that happens i will do what is requested of me but doesn't stop the thought of it scaring the s**t out of me.

its as good as the american reports in the wmd's.if you where to look in any country in the world you would find american guns doing the rounds. but you also have to take into account that you would also find arms from almost every western nation and not just america. the arms buisness isnt a very pretty one and is the bane of most 3rd world countrys.we need to take a good look at every nation before we go and only judge our american cousins and allies. there are also an awful amount of british weapons on the go out there also

Oh no! You mean to tell me that Iran has defied the al mighty United States? Who cares. My goodness. We may be the most powerful country in the world but that doesn't mean we rule over it as well. Yep,,there will be evidence of US arms in Iraq ! But will there be in IRAN,?? now Iraq president has asked the US and IRAN not to fight a proxy war in his country, but of course IRAN doesnt want it in their country, and US doesnt want it in their country, so IRAQIS take the brunt ??

I do not like wars, BUT, after seeing this, I am inclined to agree to one. We do not do that in US. We do NOT chant death out to any country, as a large group of people ( irregardless of individual beliefs) therefore, perhaps groups like that should not be allowed to exist ?
