Thinking of doing a bathroom floor which is flooded by small bathers almost daily. If you have personal experience pleaseshare. Thanks.

The modern vinyls are very resistant to moisture. If you anticipate floods on a daily basis, which you indicate happens, then I would have a professional installer do the job and have them:

1. Do it seamlessly. There will still be seams, but they will be chemically welded together and not leak or be visually apparent.

2. Have the material run up the wall about 3 inches. This is called coving and will prevent water from running over the edge of a flat sheet.

These will cost more, but are effective in containing water on the floor. Of course you need to check the floor covering occasionally (weekly?) looking for signs of failure, such as damp looking spots, cuts or tears. It is necessary to do this to correct and prevent water damage to sub flooring.
