You should ask at school, most schools use the local education authority to supply specialist teachers during school hours and the costs are a lot less that going private

Hi Abigail, Had you been from around where I am, in Hertforshire, I could reccommended a number of performing arts schools, part time, weekends & evenings, which provide a range of short introducuctory courses in music, dancing, acting, singing etc
I cannot help directly with such places in the Caerphilly area, but I,m sure that a peep in the local yellow pages, or a search on the net under "drama schools" or similar, should find classes.
My two sons, aged 13 & 16 both attend a local RADA approved establishment, studying a couple of musical instruments & drama.
At two sessions per week, after school, for two hours each, the costs are not much more than a couple of take-aways.
Getting private lessons in song & dance can be a bit expensive, and I feel it best to start by mingling with others, and observe what they are doing - free advice.
When they are rich & famous, I hope they will look after Dad !
And invite him to join in on the big stage.
(Act a bit, & play in a band, as I do sometimes.)
All the best with it
Bob.

Look in your local Yellow Pages or similar directory for dancing schools etc.
You could also ask at your local music shop and dancewear shop for their advice - some will keep a list of local teachers.

Check with little theaters(live) in your area, the people that work there would know.
