she is going to be 18! but she is a young 18. her friends have given her lots of things i was thinking about getting her, so i want something original. ideas?

You could go on Ebay and buy her several sample vials of designer perfume, like Vera Wang princess, Juicy couture (these are packaged in cute purse packaging), Lucky, etc....then let her pick a favorite, and you could get her a large bottle for Christmas. The little trials are perfect for a purse, and are especially nice if they are a spray.
My 13 and 15 year old daughters received Dooney & Burke "It" purses from and aunt & uncle and were thrilled.
It really depends on your budget, and hat she aleady has, if she doesn't have an MP3, you could get one for her, and download some of her fav. songs on it.

I don't know if she is a young teen 13-15 or older 16-19. I have a daughter who is 16, and she loves Lip Glosses and anything by Juicy Couture. Clothes, Jewels, Perfume. Hope this helps. Its hard to know what your sister will really like, only you know her personality well enough. Photo Albums, CD's and Journals are good gifts too. Good Luck and Happy Birthday to Sis.

Your sister is a woman if you can afford a certificate for a Day Spa, make over etc.

purchase some thing lovable and in her pastime. Ask her what she likes or perhaps what she's been conversing approximately. seem at contemporary magazines she's been analyzing. Or seem up her sought after web pages. once you spot some thing she want then get it!
