You can use the application for three minutes and it probably has already taken up almost 80MB worth of the RAM... and if you open it up and visit one site only and you just pull up your task manager you see it's adding anywhere from 10-100kb a second... explain to me how it's a better web browser.

Although Internet explorer has been making leaps and bounds recently in making their product more user-friendly (the addition of "tabs" and a nicer looking interface), FireFox still outperforms it in many areas.

1) FireFox - as already mention is a much more secure browser. It has, and has always had, a pop-up blocker that is intuitive and adjustable. It also automatically blocks spyware and adware from download onto your computer. Internet explorer actually uses adware in it's interface sometimes.

2) FireFox has some really cool "themes" and "extensions". Themes are downloadable looks for your FireFox. They effect only the browser from your desktop - so setting a theme up on your FireFox won't affect others using the same computer. Extensions are great. They are like extra little plugins you can use just for fun. Some allow you to zoom and remove images, while others let you access your favourite media player without leaving the program.

3) Support. Internet Explorer and Microsoft are such a large company that they get thousands of complaint emails and phone calls all the time. If you send them a problem they have a little trouble fixing it. The "Help" menus for Windows programs are just full of crap and incredibly un-helpful. Mozilla (the company that makes FireFox) has a great support team and 9 out of 10 times will answer your question within hours.

Hope this helps you make the right descision.

I ? Mozilla Firefox! i'd not in any respect use something else. It not often freezes (and that i propose not often!) or perhaps as it does you are able to in basic terms commence back the position you've been. It also blocks pop-united stateslike no one's business enterprise and that's really uncomplicated to sparkling your heritage in case you ever prefer to. i'm not precisely a pc genus or something yet I quite imagine that Firefox is way extra effective than information superhighway Explorer.
