I always get confused at this little unspoken rule. I know you gotta play hard to get, but do you call the guy first on a Friday night? Do you wait for him to call you? Do you call even though you told him to call you and he hasn't yet? AND, when guys don't call to talk or forget to call back, does it mean they are just plain not interested???

I think that if you want to call a guy, then call him.
I never play phone games.
If you are interested in someone call him and let him know.
If a guy calls you it means that he is interested in you, and has been thinking about you.
Don't play games, most men don't like it.
Call him up and say "hey I know according to the rules I should be waiting for your call, but I was just thinking about you so I thought I'd call and see if you wanted to hang out/go for drinkx etc''
Chances are that he will appreciate the honesty and will be flattered that you called and made the first move and that you were thinking about him. Try it

Okay its simple when a guy ssays that he would call and doesn't then he shouldn't be called. You can call him if you are as curious and impatent as I am but you have to have a really good reason and explanation for calling him first.
If a guy is always busy when you call him then that is the only way he could tell you that he isn't interested. Give it up and don't call again because a guy could be busy yes but five minutes should never be a problem to call someone. especailly if he says that he is interested in you.
You are a person you would know when you aren't welcome or not. Use your judgement.

If you like the call them playing games just gets old and not to mention you could miss out on a great person because of a stupid hard to get game

Don't play these grade school games! If you like the guy call him, if he likes you, he will call you back. If you are not sure, ask him. But please don't make a fool out of yourself with questions like this. Just mature-up and talk to him.
