What to do about my boyfriend?

I am 13 and love my boyfriend with all my heart, he's a great basketball player. His dad has him involved in all these other teams which is great but today he's trying out for a travel team and if he makes it he will go out of state. I know he will make it and I want to be happy for I know that'll I miss him so much so it's hard to be happy. Any advice out there to help me keep my mind off him?

I understand that you feel strongly about this boy but also remember that you are only 13 and chances are you are going to have more boyfriends before you meet "the one". So, don't spend your time sitting at home and moping around missing him. Go out with your friends, focus on your school work, do things that you enjoy, spend time with your family, or pick up a new hobby. Talk to him when you can and keep in touch but don't sit at home and agonize about it. Be supportive of what he is doing whether he is your boyfriend or becomes just a friend, because it sounds like it's important to him!

hi there. i understand what u are going thru. but at a tender age like 13, its hard to say if what u really feel is the real love or just teen age love. just hang on. as they say, things will fall on its proper place at the right time. continue to love him as he tries to pursue his dreams. you can show him more your love when you become the wind beneath his wings. its difficult but it must be done. real love supports dreams! if you are meant for each other, nothing will break your love for each other.
