I spent 3 years getting rid of any signs of acne on my face, but recently I have been having breakouts all over my back and legs. I use "body clear" by neitrogena, but it simply removes the bumbs and leaves the redness. What should I try?

Here are some real answers on skin conditions. Remedies at the bottom. Cleansing the body of toxins is the key. Especially a colon cleanse! Educate yourself on detoxifying the blood.

Steaming is a great way to smooth the skin and clear the bacteria from your face. I steam three times a week. First you star by cleaning the face with a gentle cleanser I recommended a foam cleanser then bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Poor the boiled water into a bowl and cover your head with a towel and put your face over the bowl but make sure you still have air flow to breath. I steam for about eight minutes then wash my face again followed by a honey mask for about fifteen minutes then rinse with warm water and finally close pores with a toner and moisturize. I do this Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and it really smooths my skin and evens out my complexion and removes my acne because it is taking out the bacteria that is in your pores and under your skin.

Don't pick the acne. Make sure you are drinking 1/2 ounce of water per pound of your body weight.



1. Use lukewarm water. Avoid using too hot and too cold water that can dry out your skin. This will also open the pores for deeper cleansing.

2. Avoid strong or harsh soaps/ cleansers. Strong soaps can dry your skin and strip off natural lipids. Choose soap that are mild if you prefer soap, or you can always choose cleansers that are soap- free, non- comedogenic, and mild like Cetaphil, Burt Bee’s or Neutrogena.

3. Massage your body by gently rotating upwards your middle ring and pinky fingers. Remember that hard rubbing will actually do more harm than good.

4. Rinse body well to remove all residue of soap or cleanser. Residues left behind can actually clog your pores.

give clearpores a try. it has worked pretty good for both me and by bf. he had back acne and lot's of it.

you could try proactiv, but i'm not sure if it's for the back or just the face.
