I am 16 years old, i weigh about 180. and im 5'3 ...any ideas?

You should be eating 1500 cals a day and burning 500 cals a day. You drop the most you can healthily this way, a pound a week. 3500 cals is a pound. You burn 1500 cals a day just breathing. Don't go under 1500 cals by much or you're body will "starve" and keep the fat and lower your metabolism. Also, don't lose too much more than a pound per week or the same kind of happens. At most I'd say you could try for losing 2 pounds a week. Make sure you are eating healthy and drink a lot of water, it can speed up your metabolism. Oh and also if you lift weights and start to develop muscle you will burn more calories. LIft every other day. muscle tissue burns like 50 times more cals than fat tissue

Dont freak out over it. Focus on how you feel during and after your workout. Anyway, most of your calories are burnt out of the gym anyway. Even thinking and sleeping burns calories.
