Following a night out with friends and having too much to drink (self-imposed), two hours after returning home, I passed-out. Eyes open, staring into space for two minutes in a state of paralysis. I was turned onto my side. I suddenly had violent multiple vomitings of black liquid and strangely, onion slices (not eaten any for 36 hours previously). I vomited three times before coming round and once after. I felt no pain and was instantly lucid after the episode. This had never happened before and I am usually incredibly healthy and lead an extremely active life with a good balanced diet.
I have read about 'Coffee Grounds' and they fit part of the description.

The black vomit was from blood in your stomach, ulcer maybe. Could have been Jeager, Did you have any of that?

Just a thought. Besides the usual food poisoning, alcohol poisoning, and combination of certain foods eaten, it was probably your body rejecting it's present state.
Maybe your body chemistry was unbalanced, like too few Electrolites. I say that because I'm healthy and every once in a while in the middle of the night (maybe 2 x a year) before I'm going to get sick (vomit) or out the other end, my hands go TOTALLY NUMB. They only stay numb for about 2 minutes, plus I get real hot & sweat. I take deep breaths and then do what I have to do. After I get sick, I am tired, but feel normal again. I drink a glass of Gatorade and water. I chalk it up to electrolites.

Gee Wiz....I don't think any of us are dotors here....but the "black" usually means old blood....yet on the other hand....could be anything. By describing what came up after 36 hours, sounds like you have a stomach problem going on. You had best get to the doctor, as I am sure everyone else who answers your question will suggest. Good luck!

I once found my brother passed out on the couch like 3 in the morning. He had been drinking a cheap wine with his friends and we had eaten Lobsters that nite before he left. I got up and saw him laying there but I couldnt see his face, its was like blacked out. Being full of sleep and half hung over my self I walked over to him and stared down into where I new his eyes were suppose to be but they were gone! When I saw black bubbles coming from his nose I new it was vomit. His whole face was covered in what looked like a dark black slugge. I woke up my mom and other brother so they could see this 8th wonder of the world, what I wld give today for a pic of that. My advice for you is curt-tail the drinking, unless you just like paying the fiddler...............Take Care

Well you definitely had alcohol poisoning. Hopefully you didn't damage any organs like your liver. Your body was trying to tell you something. Better listen.
