Yes, they do taste good. It is different from eating chicken because they don't have much meat and they don't taste the same. Tried them barbecued and in consommé.
Some people may be apprehensive about taking a bite because city pigeons eat garbage but hens living on the loose eat anything they can pick on: lizards, insects, left-overs and garbage too. Ever see hens chasing grasshoppers and/or cockroaches? So funny! What about racing after a lizard? They don't fly but they are fast runners, though.

Yes, they were popular in America until around the 1940's when chicken farming became easier. The squabs are best when they're twenty days old. You should never eat a wild pigeon though.

Perhaps, with the right seasonings, pigeons may taste good, but I certainly wouldn't recommend eating them. They often carry several diseases humans may contract from them.

Pidgeons raised near a fast food restaurant are excellent! They have a lot of meat on their bones and they taste fried even when you roast them.

Remember this fire boy
Pretty girls don't kiss boys that eat pigeons...That should help you decide.

Besides you could BBQ a leather glove and put enough sauce on it and it would taste like chicken,or pig.....(pig skin gloves)
