I have found that most blocks can pretty easily handle a 100 hp increase with nitro with no mods. As long as the seals are good and the block is fairly strong which it probably is with only 67000 original miles.

if your sure that the motor is really on 67000 miles and not rolled over and some thing like 267 000 miles but yes if it is only 67000 and in pretty good shape but i would recomend aftermarket headers and dual exhaust to get the exhaust out and it will handel the heat better then stock manifolds but i dont see why you would need it the duke boys and the general lee did just fine without it and they only had the 318

yea it can handle it there is just a few things that you need to do to make it a little safer first you should back your timing down three or four degrees and most important of all make sure your fuel pump can keep up with the demand for the extra fuel or your engine will go BOOM for a hundred shot you will need at least 6.5 pounds of constant fuel pressure to be safe and last of all if you are going to spray use the best gas you can find a little octane booster wont hurt ether i hope this helps if you do every thing right you will go faster if you do one thing wrong you will find out just how hard it is to find another one of those famous big blocks built by dodge

yes, but I would just make sure the motor is in top shape since nitrous is hard on an engine and it has sat a long time with that few of miles on it

THIS ENGINE CAN HANDLE NITROUS BUT IT IS GOING TO REDUCE THE LIFE EXPECTANCY OF YOUR ENGINE ALOT. YOU REALLY NEED GOOD HEADERS AND DUAL EXHAUSTS. FLUSH THE COOLING SYSTEM AND ADD A COOLING ADDITIVE. A GOOD ADDITIVE IS CALLED WATER WETTER. IT WILL MAKE THE COOLING SYSTEM MORE EFFICIENT. CHECK YOUR BRAKES, WITH ALL THAT POWER YOU WILL NEED A STRONG BRAKE SYSTEM TO SLOW THAT CAR DOWN! GOOD LUCK!

Nitrous is very hard on any engine. I'd be nice to the classics.
Any engine can fail with nitrous.
