Guys.......?

Question

I like two guys and they both like me. One lives 1 hour and 1/2 away and the other lives here. I like the one who lives farther away more because he is more my type and we understand eachother. I have a feeling the one who lives here might ask me out and I would say no because I don't want to ruin anything I might have with the other guy. How can I tell this guy that I wouldn't go out with him before he asked me out?
