I'm going through the same thing!!! I exercised for a month and did not lose a pound!!! What I did was increase my water intake....and I noticed since I was exercising I was feeling really hungry so I increased my eating habits.....that was a no no.......when you eat try spacing it out in four hour increments if you don't want to do that try eating 5 small meals a day in 2-3 hour i ncrements and if you get hungry between times drink your water....if you follow those directions you will lose 1-2 pounds a week. Be patient and the weight will come off. Oh one more thing so you won't ware yourself out you can do cardio 20min a day and add strength training in your daily routine and you will get good results :). Good Luck !

Have you kept track of how many Calories you are consuming? It takes some time for you body to adjust to the new routine. Make sure that the Calories you are consuming is less than the Calories you are burning. If you burn more Calories than you consume, you will lose weight. Make sure you are drinking enough water too though. At what pace are you exercising? Have you calculated your target heart rate (220 - age)? If your aim is to lose weight, you want your heart rate at 65% of that number. So if you are 20, take 220 - 20 = 200. Now multiply 200 y .65 = 130. So your heart rate should be right around 130 beats per minute. I would aim for about 40 minutes a day. Then as you can increase your intensity, I would aim for 85% of your target heart rate, or 187 beats per minute. Eat healthy and exercise, and drink plenty of water.

90 minutes of what?
You need to be doing aerobic exercise like running to lose weight, and do not make up for it by eating more.
Often when we start exercise we stay the same or gain a little because we get muscle tone, and muscle is denser than fat, so you can lose fat and not lose any weight. But with more muscle you are now burning more calories even at rest, so just keep it up and the loss will follow

Nourish your body thin, instead of starving your body fat. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic load. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin and healthy. Salt has no calories but makes you fat and burning more calories does not help this fatness.

Reading a book will take you hours but the information on a post, taking minutes to read, is not enough. The webpage below has just enough to know what you need to know. Links page has gov. Drink more water.
Try strength training (with weights), it burns calories after you finish exercising and you don't have to do it for 90 minutes a day.
Good luck!
