The jacked up rules of engagement and primitive conditions are a challenge for the people who volunteer to do this. A lot of poorer countries send people to fill these missions as a way of getting money. One of my colleagues spent time in Kosovo and later Afghanistan and said it was an education, that was for sure. The money was good, but his wife was sick of him being gone and put her foot down. He doesn't do that anymore.

Other than being an agent of the most insidiously evil organization on the planet, I don't know. Is that an advantage or disadvantage?
