The time will vary from dog to dog. It will also depend on her age or the number of litters she has had. If she is through having puppies (you didn't mention a breed, so don't know how may pups to expect). If she is a first time mom, or too young (under 2 years of age) it is always unpredictable.
If the mom is not in any noticeable distress, if she isn't pushing and trying to expel a puppy, be concerned but don't panic.
Dogs can safely go as much as 6 hours between puppies, although 30 min to 1 hour is more the normal span of time between each puppy birth.
**EXCEPTION** if she is straining and pushing really hard(contractions) with no baby being born within 3 hours (MAX) take her and the pups to the vet as soon as possible. If hard contractions are steady for that long a period of time, there IS usually something wrong (baby stuck) The mom will give out (from the strain of pushing) and not have the energy to push after a period of time, this could cause any puppies still not born to die.
If she isn't having contractions and no puppy arrives after 12 to 14 hours, take her and the babies to the vet for a check. It is possible she has retained some after birth.
Usually after the pups start nursing it stimulates the mom to pass any retained after birth.

Wait, so why did you breed her? You obviously have no reason to be breeding, as you do not know anything about it. So why did you put her through it?

You need to get some professional veterinary help so that you do not complicate her life.

Labor in dogs can take a very, very long time, or it can be quite quick.
But if there are problems during or after, you will not be able to take proper care of her or the pups.
Also, she may just have one or two pups. You just never know, unless of course you are a professional breeder and you know what you are doing, which of course you do NOT.

From now on, how about spaying your dog and letting her lead a non-stressful life??
