I was 22 when I met my husband who at the time was 39. We have been happily now for 10years and with 3 kids. It's the person you fall for not the age, everyone likes what they like, I like older men because they usually have more to say for themselves, not just pull up a bean bag to a video game ya know? I am sure there are plenty of fabulous and intelligent younger guys too, I just found maturity more alluring than 'free loving youth'

no its not strange --- my lady does and with good reason --- the guys her age are arrogant not appreaciative not kind or gentle not mature and the list does go on
its not about money its about respect and caring (i add money as too many people assume that is the only reason a younger lady would be with an older guy) --- my lady loves me for me not for money (cause i dont have any)

I suppose it depends on whether the guys you are around that are your age are very immature. If they are then I suppose it makes sense that you are looking elsewhere.
Maybe you are looking at the wrong kind of guys to date, or maybe you made the right decision. Be careful with whomever you decide to date, there are immature jerks in every age category.

It's only strange if you will not date a guy you like because he is not 40 years old, or you date a guy you don't like because he is over 40.

No not strange,I'm 56,my ex is 27 we had six great years together but she wanted kids and I'm too old to try and raise kids.when it comes to love age as they say ain't nothing but a number.If i feels right to you then go for it.

I think it is weird. So yes. I'm 11 and it's weird to like 8th graders or 7th graders or someone who likes you in 6th grade. Maybe you should try to flirt around hot young 20 year olds.
