Hello folks, I just want to know what the majority is when it comes to exercising (motivational factor). What is the majority, looks, health, hobby, fitness, personal goals, your job etc. My main factor is the exhausted feeling after a good session. Thanks for your input. Have a great day and a better tomorrow!

I exercise to hopefully lose weight, but it's also to be healthier. I feel good after I exercise, probably because it's a mood lifter. Even if I don't lose any more weight, I'll keep exercising.

I have had all of the motivations listed above over the years, but the most powerful one is my son. I want to be a good example for him by eating right and some type of exercise. No more McDs every day and we try to play outside when its not too cold. My second is my job, I am a sales rep, and people always have a first impression. Now neither of these has forced me into Arnold shape, but I try.

My motivation is my health. Two of my family members, immediate family, have recently been diagnosed with diabetes. In order to prevent it, I am getting healthier. I also have high blood pressure, which is odd for my age. Plus, I have this really cute pair of jeans that I bought and have only worn a couple of times.

My main motivation is for the goals that it gives me to work toward... taking each second off, getting stronger and faster to beat the rest. Also working through that pain barrier time and time again feels awesome.

It's my heart..

As you might know, just like your other muscles, if you don't strengthen them they'll become weak and pretty much useless..

The same goes for your heart: if you don't strengthen those heart muscles, how long do you think they will keep on pumping for you? Do you know how many times your heart needs to circulate blood everyday?

Think about it, and you'll feel like starting again in no time!! :)

P.S: you seem like the healthy type so motivation should come naturally..
