What does it taste like? I know some forms of honey are not suitable for consumption by asthmatics. What about the honeycomb?

Thank you.

Yes, actually you don't eat a honeycomb, you chew it like gum. It is a waxy texture. If the honey is not suitable, they honeycomb will not be suitable as it contains the honey. When I was a child, the honeycomb was a treat given on special occasions!

I'm not sure if the honeycomb is good for asthmatics or not. A safe bet would be to eat Honeycomb cereal. It's got a yummy honey taste, a nice crunch, and you know it's safe for you. I've had Honeycomb and I can say that it's probably better than a real honeycomb (and you don't have to fight bees for it)!

lol Honeycomb cereal!
I'm sorry I don't really know about the other kind...
But I can definitely check Wikipedia:

"Fresh, new comb is sometimes sold and used intact as comb honey, especially if the honey is being spread on bread rather than used in cooking or to sweeten tea."

The honeycomb is just wax. It tastes like honey with wax...you can't really eat the wax, it gets stuck in your teeth.
