I have oily scalp and long dry hair. I tried this and that, until I found Klorane. Try, it might help you as well. They have one with citron it in, it really helps with greasiness. But I still wash my hair daily.

First of all, if you have oily hair, wash your hair everyday. Any shampoo that says "for oily hair" will be good for your hair. I don't believe in the thing that your hair gets used to a certain shampoo, but if you do, just switch brands everytime you buy a new bottle.

Your hair lacks volume because it is stuck to your scalp. Keeping it clean will boost volume.

I used to get oily hair alot, so wash your hair each bloody day. I also coloration my hair and that i have stumbled on that because then that's not oily. Blond's are at chance of have oily hair. once you've a hair str8ner use that. For shine.. maximum of them can make your hair not purely sense oily yet seem it too. i take advantage of Gloss drops from Priceline it purely $15. So wash your hair well-known, possibly change shampoo's and use conditioner 2 maximum folk do not. i take advantage of Fructis Garnier manufacturers and they are fab. i take advantage of coloration lock as my hair is black on the mo. Darker hair reflecks shine so that you may not prefer to make your hair brilliant in any respect.

Use Head&Shoulders with Zinc about twice a week and that should help. It will take care of some of the oil, then the other days use your Pantene. Your friend is right about switching up your shampoos too.

In your case, you shouldn't wait to wash it in two days. Wash it twice a day, once after you wake up and one before you go to bed. And try designer shampoo, a bit more expensive but works way better. Try Matrix. You can get this at almost any hairsalon around $25.

the more often you wash your hair, the quicker it gets oilier. it has to do with the scalp trying to make up for the dryness of your hair. it use to happen to me SO fast, and when i started using tresemme, my hair became soft and it doesn't oil as fast. but it's not for all hair types- my roomate hates it. she uses herbal essences and she says that it has always worked best for her. (my hair is big and curly, hers is thinner and straight)

about the pantene- more than one of my hairdressers have told me it isn't a good shampoo. supposedly pantene and head & shoulders have chemicals in it that are too strong for hair. they supposedly start damaging your hair and it starts breaking. i haven't used either shampoo since.

You don't have to have to change your shampoo. You can stick with the same one.

use a little hairspray on your roots and brush it out a little. it will help volumize and it will keep your hair from being over oily.
