I'm doing everything I can to deal with this depression but this morning I'm very depressed again. Its been increasing for the past week. The meds help for a while. I've doubled my efforex doseage the last few days and it seems to help for a while then its back to hitting bottom again. I don't know what else I can do.

I know how you feel. I was on Venlafaxine for two years. The thing i found was that the drugs don't take away the feelings of despair or isolation, they just make you a little numb. When i was on AD's my sense of humour was suppressed also which is something everyone needs. I came off the drugs myself(which i don't recommend, nightmares like ive never had before) and for the first time in three years i found myself laughing. I'm not saying this is what you should do, i'm saying this is what i did and found that having my emotions back(even though the negative still exists) was a better place to be than to be uncomfortably numb. Every persons battle with depression is personal and unique to you. Good luck in your fight :)

I have had the same problem for years, it really takes a commitment to finding the right doc and the right meds or combo of meds. For me I need Wellbutrin for the depression and Lexapro for anxiety. My anxiety would worsen my depression. I also recently started provigil which combats the sleepiness / always tired feeling. I feel better than I have felt in years. None of the OTC (St Johns Wort etc) ever worked for me. I'm sure you know about lifestyle modification too, stress release, surrounding yourself with positive people, working out, etc. Good Luck - keep trying you will get there. Feel free to email me if I can help at all.

i do no longer understand why you prefer to be unhappy, yet... Berserk would be unhappy in a fashion, and it has an epic storyline, 25 eps Deadman Wonderland is the comparable, could make some people unhappy, in basic terms 12 eps Ninja Scroll will make u reported cuz its so undesirable D: that is all i'm able to think of of wonderful now. wish this helps :)
