Ever since we got a new TV my 11 month old just can not seem to stay away from the buttons. And yes I could say "No" a million more times but I already have to say no to 100 more important things... like pulling the power supply out of the baby monitor and licking it, playing with the computer mouse, dvd drive, cd drive, printer etc. So really I don't want to hear just keep saying no and he'll get it.

What I do want to know is do you have a tv button guard? Does it work? Did you buy it, if so what brand or style? Did you make one, what does it look like?

Thanks.

I'm so glad to see this question. My son is a year old now and he cannot stay away from our electronics. It can get scary. I always wondered why and worried that it was something I did. I did get the TV guard before I ended up building a higher TV console. I suggest you try one of these products. As for unplugging things--I ended up trying to place things with plugs on furniture so my son wouldn't get to them. In my living room I got an electric strip and plugged all of my TV cords behind the TV. I think this is a pretty good solution. This way there's only one safety issue [unplugging the electric strip] but he can't unplug all the other wires. Best of Luck!

If you are talking about the power button, I has the same problem. Put a piece of electrical tape over the "on" light. This is what attact them to it.
