Fido does not do land line telephones; they're cellular only. They're owned by Rogers and the closest thing they have to a landline is Rogers digital phone (VoIP service). Nonetheless, if the subscriber chose to have their number listed, it would be in canada411 or whitepages.ca. If you're not seeing it, they're either cellular or the subscriber chose to make their listing private and you cannot get it except through one of those pay services that aggregate data on people from spam lists people sign up for and lists bought from companies with the hopes that at some time that person gave a company their cell number.

Get a No Cost Phone Number Scan at https://bitly.im/aOeqf
Its a good way to start. The place lets you to do a no cost phone scan simply to find out if any telephone data is there. This basic alalysis is done without cost. For a full detailed report its a modest payment.
Here's Reverse / Whose Number Lookup page. If you're talking about cell phones, you usually have to pay for that. I've had pretty good luck just using Google a phone number to find out who's calling. If you are researching a quantity of numbers, though, I suppose, you might want a service. I can't imagine why the average person would need to research a quantity of numbers, though, so I assume this is business-related, and it then seems only fair that you pay for a service. But maybe it's not.

The absolutely free reverse phone lookup sites generally provide the most basic of information such as name and it works only for landlines. To get further information, money will have to be paid. The free searches do not provide much more than what can be found through the phone book or personal knowledge and they only want your email to send spam.
Stay away from shady reverse phone lookup sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse phone lookup site like http://www.phonedetective.link that has been around since 1999.
If I recall correctly they have two options:
1. $14 and you get only one report.
2. $39 and you get unlimited reports. I went with this option because I wanted to verify more numbers. This is how I caught my girlfriend cheating, I got the name, other phone number, address history, relatives, and criminal-court records.
