I believe that lots of species was lost during the flood. Since mankind was so obliterated by the tons of water and continents moving and the whole earth was in a turmoil. Gen 10:25
erased any sign of man being on the earth. Many animals were destroyed during that time the few we see today came from the ones that Noah took into the ark.
The continents at one time were connected. Even years after the flood it was connected from Russia to Alaska.
Many species God may have even brought back like Australia.
Since the animals had done nothing wrong. Only the people.
Gen 8:21 never again will he kill every living thing as he once did.
Revelation says "I will bring to ruin those ruining the earth"
So does he care that the earth is ruined?
Will he restore it again like he did in the days of Noah? YES!

The same reason that the nicest person in the world gets run down on the road and dies before their time...Christians say its a test or something equally straw grasping, but common sense dictates that these things happen because God doesn't exist. This is what happens when you create a god that is all powerful, can make the universe and is claimed to control everything, including the heartbeat of that fly outside your window. He is always going to fall short of all the "Bigging it up" hype that the followers has spouted over the years.

I think the people who worship mother nature have it right. We humans can do what we will, mother nature can't strike us down in vengeance like the Christian God, eventually she will win out, as eventually she or we ourselves will make us extinct, and the earth will go on well enough without us.

So next time you make a god up to worship, try not to make him so powerful, as he can never live up to your expectations.

Because evolution created new species, not god. And the answer that god was still perfecting them is such a cop out. If your god is supposed to be perfect and all powerful, he would have created perfect species immediately. So try reading some factual books and learn a thing or two.

Supposedly God gave free will. So if the dinosaur wanted to hang itself it was let alone.

And why should humans see them? I doubt humans are a big part of God's mind.

Maybe, just maybe, because there is no God. Or there is a God who has no control, or who is not all encompassing which defeats the logic of a God that is not all powerful, and therefore emans that there is no God, and all the books have ben lies....

There is no God. Species evolved over billions of years and are still evolving and still going extinct. Its sounds like you need a refresher course in 5th grade science.

Man is to rule the beasts of the fields and birds of the air. Man is losing ground by allowing those species to die thereby negating his ability to rule and subjecting creation to death and destruction.
