For a cruise you are on a large ship, usually with a lot of other people, you get to see a few different places but you have a specific time of when to go on shore and when you have to be back. When you go on a beach holiday you can find some pretty secluded areas, you stay on the same piece of land but you can do what you want when you want.

My ideal vacation involves some privacy. Although you can hide out in your "cabin" once in awhile, on a cruise it's alot of people forced to socialize together. It's not that I'm anti-social and you do meet interesting people, I don't like the idea of being placed on a "seating chart" if you will. The food and entertainment is the greatest BUT like you say they put you on a timer. My first rule of vacation is No watches, or cellphones allowed! We eat when we're hungry, we sleep when we are tired. Therefore the beach is the place for us. Alot of beaches provide food stands, so you don't have to haul a cooler for miles through sand. And on a personal aside "LIAMS" at Nausett Beach in Cape Cod has the best scallops and ice cold lemonade on the whole Cape!

i've got been on the Carnival Sensation and had an brilliant time. with your age, that's a solid in effective condition, and you will need fairly some relaxing. I desire Mexico over the Bahamas, however i actually like the Caribbean over the two of them. that's probable a private bias as i've got carried out Mexico greater oftentimes than the Caribbean, and the ports have a tendency to be greater alike in Mexico. happy twenty first.a million

Cruises, in my opinion, are boring. The ocean is a monotonous place and the short stops don't make up for the boredom in between. I prefer RVing. The scenery is constantly changing and you can stop to explore anytime you want.

cruise, simply because I have never been on one and it is more affordable than I thought, especially if you can wait until the last minute when they're trying to sell out the cruise. I've been to the beach several times.
