I need help in video burning, especially in avi files.

You can use Nero6(or 7 preferably) and use it to make a 'video CD'.

Try to use AVS Video Converter

- download and install the program
- open a file or files you want to burn
- click "To DVD"
- click "Convert Now"

After conversion is finished AVS Video Converter will ask you to inser a blank DVD

You stated video file. What kind of video file, Quicktime, WMV, AVI?

Your best bet would be to go to www.videohelp.com they have the best tutorials on how to burn everything from VCD's to DVD's and on how to convert all the different formats.

You can just copy the file. Better still, use a software for burning, like Nero, etc. You can get some freeware from download.com too.
