Hi I’m a guy who’s 24 years old and still a virgin. Am I missing out sex? Because a lot of people have teased me about it, and have said if you don’t hurry up and get laid you’ll be the 40 year old virgin from that movie. They have even said I’m gay, which I’m not, the only reason why I’m still a virgin is because I respect women and don’t want to use them just for sex, in fact I’m abstaining from sex till marriage to give my virginity to the woman I love. The thing I don’t understand is why am I labelled as weird for doing this?

There is nothing wrong with you! Nothing! Don't let other people tell you that's it wrong, or let them pressure you.
I kept my virginity until I was in my 20's and finally gave in. I was a psych major in college and even had my teachers tell my I was strange and not quite right. My own family thought I was a lesibian! I finally gave in to the pressure and I regret it.
When I met my husband I wished I had waited. So does he. When you met the one you are supposed to be with you'll know.
Society thinks we have to run out and experiment with sex as soon as we hit puberty. The truth is that there are a lot of virgins out there. So keep waiting.

Hey, I'm in the same position. I get payed out for it all the time. (I'm 22 btw). I feel like: it's so unfair - how come everyone else can get laid before marriage and I can't. I almost feel as if I won't be able to get married, or will never be able to get a girl - ever.
I get payed out by my friend. He said, if you''re a virgin at 22 you're a virgin for life. He says I will be the 40 year old virgin just like in that movie (exactly the same as you). I'm abstaining from sex till marriage. It's not because of whether I 'respect women'. It's because i respect that commandments of god and that the body is not a temple. So eventhough I would like to get laid (and badly) i am not going to do it with anyone apart from my wife (which I am looking forward to by the way).
Why are you labelled as weird? Because it is perverse to a worldly way of living. People have sex with multiple people. It FEELS SO GOOD. And people ask, how could you not do something that feels that good? They're like: 'hey man, you just gotta get laid'. And if you don't get laid, then they'll think you're weird, because it is like such a good feeling, and it feels SOOO good and special (this what my friends say - and I am not talking from experience B.T.W) that anyone who doesn't do it is just weird b/c it's like: how could you not??
and, yes, you are missing out on sex and plenty of it. my friend had sex with 8 women in the last month. 8 women in ONE MONTH! if you want sex, you can get it. Hell, you can pay and get sex. Sex is easy, if you want to have it.
But it is hard, if you have this beliefs. Stick to them. Guard it like your eyes. People want to take it away from you. But give it as a gift to your wife on the day you get married.

People are retards, and anything you do that isn't the way they do it, they're going to pick on you for it. Fact of life...but who cares?You have your own good reasons for doing things your own way, so stick to them. You don't want to end up having sex with some girl after waiting this long just because Stupid Steve from work makes fun of you. Stick to your guns, and maybe stop telling people you're still a virgin if all they do is make you doubt yourself. When you find the right girl, it will all be worth it. :)

I don't think it's a problem but you might want to lose it at 35 just in case or u will become the 40 year old virgin. Also, what if you never get married or don't get married for a long time? just a thought

when something is not "common" people dont consider it to be "normal". the fact is that more people should be just like you and learn to abstain from sex until marriage. dont worry about what other say or call you.

wow... i respect u for that! u noe what, in my religion, we HAVE to get married first before we could do 'that' activity... so, in our copuntry, its a normal thing to do... actually it depends on which surroundings u r in... and it just happens to be that way... so thats y u r labelled that way... but anyway, i respect u coz u have faith in doing what is right to u... good luck! to hell about what other people think about u... its ur life... u can do anything u want...
