I think it's time for Christians not to pick and choose the verses that they only like.

That was in under the Mosaic Covenant In the 3rd Dispensation. We are now in the Dispensation of Grace, which shows God's Love and Mercy. He came to this planet through the Miraculous Birth, lived for 30+ yrs, and died on the Cross, and rose again 3 days later to proved a way of escape for us from death and hell!! And we can do that also by following His example!!

Christianity teaches that without Christ, we are already spiritually dead. (In the first few verses of Genesis, God told Adam that if he ate of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, he would die - referring to spiritual death which is separation from God.)
Hebrews Chapter 10, verses 26-31 (in the New Testament) tells us what happens to someone who rejects the Christian faith:
26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. 29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has spurned the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge his people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
We don't execute people who reject the faith - they must fall into God's hands eventually

Depends where you live etc. Noone really practices what they preech these days in any religion.
For example in the UK-I know a few people who left Islam. People know but nothing happend.
Now try doing that in Iran (btw Iran is a Shia Muslim country, laws are a tad bit stricter).
I personally do not know anyone who has been killed for leaving Islam.

You will note that this type of behaviour stopped thousands of years ago for the Jew. And hundreds of years ago for the Christian. Don't you think its time for Islam to join the 21st century? No offense but lets get real here, what do you say?

Not a basher here, but a proclaimer of the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Jesus said 'No one comes to the Father EXCEPT through Me.'
I don't bash but I DO pray for the misled who follow islam, and any other religions teaching false doctrine.

If the world hates it, perhaps they heard about 9/11 and the airplanes killing 3,000.
And by the way, you should note, killing people seems to be the predominant thought in this religion.
