I use this service and they send everything to my house by ups and pick it up. It's free...but I don't know where you are from...you may have one too. Books & videos on anything to do with deafness and hard of hearing...coping, learning, and fun stuff like movies too.

I am HOH and my family mainstreamed me. They didn't catch on to my problem till I was in my 20's. I had a 70/70 bilateral loss. But I had surgery to correct it a little. Best thing is to get educated. I wish I had known about deaf culture before I had the surgeries. I did not adjust well. I never knew other kids like me. There is a lot of help out there. You can ask me anything at my 360 page blog(it has an email option under the photo). Good Luck!

Here is an entry I found searching the web:

ASL Pro
... free online ASL educational resource website featuring over 11,000 ASL Signs ... More ASL Learning Tools. Preview a Computer Program Online Here ...www.aslpro.com

There are many more sites, also. I typed in "free online ASL."

Good luck to you and your family. I think it is great that you are trying to do everything you can to communicate with your daughter.

You need to buy a ASL (American Sign Language)book.
You don't need a dictionary to tell you what the Signs
mean.
The book may cost under $20. You might find it on
Amazon.com
I have a couple of videos to that help teach Signing.
I had a class in Sign. I was shocked that one of the
students had a deaf son of 12, and she never took a
class before to learn to speak to him.

It just takes PRACTICE, lot's, and lot's of PRACTICE.
You can Sign to songs. I showed my First Grade Class
how to Sign to " You Are My Sunshine ". :-)
