Please be fair about the answers. If a kid goes to a boarding/ prep school for the last two years of education, are they likely to become rude and arrogant?

I think that rudeness and arrogance are independent of one's education. If you're only talking about the last 2 years I would say that a person who acts rude/arrogant already had those unfortunate traits to begin with. I don't believe that private education 'makes' one arrogant. If you are already arrogant it just gives you one more thing to brag about. If you just want to learn in a very intense environment and do well in college I don't see how it can foster arrogance/rudeness. Hope this helps.

Some of the nicest, most intelligent people I know got their high school education at a private boarding school.

I think any snobbishness they might have acquired was tempered by the trials of college.
