I like this guy who is a christian, and he goes to church but i don't and i believe in jesus. My brother and sister go to a christian school but my parents have just started to send the rest of the family to a christian school. I didn't have the education but I believe and like a guy who is strongly into his church we are still getting to know eachother, is it too late for me to want to know more about jesus and get involved as i am really interested but feel out of place as i wasn't brought up with jesus from a young age as my brother and sister are now. This guy and I are currently seeing eachother we both like eachother very much, he has told me that his parents used to go to church but don't now but still believe as i believe but haven't been brought up going to church. We have alot of small things in common as we are still getting to know eachother, he is rather sweet blows me kisses when i leave. We talk so much about life, but i don't know how to tell if he really accepts me.

I am a newly saved Christian. I am 23 years old. I don't believe there is ever a time in anyone's life where learning more about jesus is unacceptable. It doesn't matter your age. I wasn't brought up in a household that went to church or spoke about religion ever. It is amazing the way I feel now and the things that are happening to me. So if you want to know more, DO! If he wants to spend time with you and makes an effort to, than he likes you. Take one day at a time and let him know you are interested in learning more about Christianity and Jesus. Hope this helps. If you need to talk more feel free to e-mail me.

Religion is a sensitive topic in any relationship. I would have to say that it sounds as though he is accepting you as you are. People can come from different backgrounds, have different views on religion and still maintain a meaningful relationship. Talk with him about it openly and honestly and find out how he feels. It may now be as important to him as you think. Perhaps you to can even work out a compromise together. Just don't give up yet. Good luck to you.

It is never to learn about God and Jesus. Keep going to church. Enjoy.

i may be intolerant --- if he puts his religion before everything else it may be a problem in the short and long term --- it may be better to get out early before your feelings for this person grow too strong ---- he should accept you for who you are now -- not what he may think you should be or could be --- best wishes
