Hey I'm a regular Joe, just a superior one, you know like the average IQ is 100 doesn't mean everyone's is.


Seriously now, what exactly is your point here, a preacher got you riled up over something?

EDIT:

Ah I think I'm beginning to get this. Its sort of a code at church that those who actually use thier brain to conclude that religion is bunk are guilty of 'psuedo-superiority' and that makes believers feel better..... riiight.

Your question is not very clear. But most folks who try to make themselves appear superior actually feel inferior, and are trying to cover that up. So. I guess it is fear-based, in that they are afraid that others will see them as inferior as well. In fact, nobody is inferior to any other person. We all have a purpose here, and are of equal value in the eyes of God.

I think it is often a cover for insecurity needing to be looked up to becouse they feel less.
