There a woman that I have gone out with 4 times but she says we are just friends. I have told her that I am interested in more than just friends and when we go out she considers them dates. She always initiates phone calls, text messages etc. Our 'dates' end in a hug never a kiss. I am totally into this girl and I'm not sure if she is just taking it slow or not interested romantically. My question, should I send her something on Valentines day, or am I fighting a losing battle?

that is so sweet that you came on her to ask us what we thought.

i am 30, so i fit into that category of answers you wanted.

i think that it is very possible that she may have been hurt in the past and that's why she is taking it slow with you.
us girls love attention, and if i were you i think i would stick to carnations.
1st of all they show more of a 'good friendship' kind of interest. and while alot of women want roses, i think carnations smell better, last longer, and my god, cheaper.

i would hope that you pursue here more. because it does sound like she likes you, alot.
never give up on what you want however know when you need to back up a little.
maybe play the little I'll call you and wait a few days, to see if she can hold out or not.

i have a bunch of random thoughts today, and i hope that you can bunch them together to make sense out of them.

but yeah, buy her some flowers, maybe drop them off at her work, or have them delivered. that way she knows you care, but you're not pushing it.

Good luck, i hope she falls head over heels for you.

Sure, women always appreciate a nice gift for V-day, but don't go overboard. If you go the flowers route, maybe send a nice wildflower bouquet... not red roses! Jewlery is good, too. A watch, or earrings. If you are not sure where the relationship stands, don't spend too much or you are likely to scare her away rather than endear her.

I think you should tell her how you feel or just give her a card (not overly mushy....just nice, neutral valentine's day card). You have to decide what you really want out of the relationship. If you really want to be with her, then you need to find some way to tell her. You don't want to always wonder "what might have been". You'll make yourself crazy! Only give her the neutral card, if you don't think you want to try a relationship with her.

u can buy a valentine gift in both cases, friends or relationship, but be wise choosing ur gift cause it shouldnt be pushing
and also be wise choosing the time to try again telling her u r interested in more than a relationship
anyway i guess the gift will be a good step even if she didnt want a relation..

goodluck

She does want a relationship with you!!! Why do you think she calls you??? Also, why do you think that she text messages you??? She is just not sure how to end the date, that is all, she is very interested. Keep it up.

i'd like my husband to grant me the diamond he's been promising me provided that 6 months earlier the marriage! LOL I often provide one naughty and one outstanding present to him. i'd think of in case you probably did that, you will desire to make a cutting-edge basket: get purple roses, with a card, and doubtless some small candles, possibly a locket she will place your image or a lock of hair in. For the naughty present, get some style of toy, alongside with a French Tickler (ostrich feather), and coach her the thank you to apply it wink

It sounds as if she is interested, if she wasn't, she wouldn't be treating you so well.

Perhaps something in her past has caused her to want to take things slower.
