Poison Oak is an allergic-type reaction which can't really be treated: if left alone for a few days, it will go away on its own. The only thing to watch out for is the weeping phase: when it's weeping fluid it is at its most contagious. Contain the infection with a breathable cotton bandage, cover it in calamine lotion to keep down the itch, and watch what and who comes in contact with it, and it will pass in a few days.
