Every time I encounter Him, i picture Him as a funny loving kind of guy! He jokes around with me a lot too! Anyone feel the same?:D

Agreed, since He made us in His image and we have humor, it is only logical that He has humor too.
And btw one of His creations, called the platypus, baffled people for decades - now that's humor.

As the Son of God in human form, I think Jesus was able to see people on their level. Humor is something necessary to human existence as is imagination. He knew that human beings could sometimes be petty and take themselves far too seriously. So He often made rather witty points concerning human faults. Perhaps, he wanted to show just how rediculous we could be and that true wisdom can come of being able to laugh at oneself.

He has to have a sense of humour to have servants like me. Well don't laugh, he has to have a sense of humour to have servants like you, too.
Actually there are several very dry little "jokes" in the New Testament...calling Peter "the Rock" is one of them. And the whole business about the camel and the eye of the needle.
