superiority is on the eyes of the beholder. If the one being pseudo-superior honestly believes they are, they have no mask of fear, but if they are aware of putting up an act of pseudo-superiorirt, they are indeed wearing that mask.

I would say yes. A deep look at any school yard bullie would show you that they are actually intimidated by the kids they are picking on.
