I would say yes, as long as it was covered. During the night, uuncovered stews may have been home to several bugs and such. What is NOT safe is leaving a crockpot on all night, if you did.

The danger zone is roughly between 40 and 140 degrees. Anything left out and allowed to cool (such as your casserole) or heat up (such as a gallon of milk) to a temperature within this "danger zone" will have bacteria growing within two hours. I would not chance feeding that to your family.

If your crockpot had been left on and it stayed hot all night then I believe that would be okay to eat.

It should be, if the heat was turn on all night. The crock pot doesn't know the difference between night and day yet.

You can but I would sugest putting it back in the oven for an hour or so to kill off the bacteria that have grown during the night, you might have to add some more sauce so it doesnt burn. Its always best to put things in the fridge as soon as they are cool to slow down the growth of bacteria as they do multiply very fast but wont get into that now.

It depends on where you are located. If located somewhere cold (in winter), it is most probably still okay by morning.

Try heating it and see if really fine bubbles come out of it. These tiny bubbles are a sign of fermentation, so I wouldn't eat the stew if they're present, because it means that the food is already spoiled.
