I usually eat dinner VERY early, so I don't think it's that the food still weighs inside me last thing at night, so why do I usually weight 3lbs lighter in the morning compared to during the day or at night?

You weigh more at night before bed because during the day you have a steady intake of food and water that offsets the amount of calories you burn. If you didn't eat all day, you would lose more weight, but you would still weigh less in the morning because your body continues to burn calories even while you sleep.

The amount of weight lost at night depends on how you sleep. If you are an active sleeper with a lot of movement, you'll lose more. In addition, the temperature of your body at night will also help you lose more water weight the warmer your body temperature is, kind of like a sauna.

As far as eating early in the evening, the body has digested the food, but it is still in your intestines until your bowels are evacuated. Only the nutrients your body can use have been processed completely, which usually only results in about ten percent of the weight of food you ate.

It is because during the day your body weighs more with the food you have eaten. In the morning I normally weigh two pounds less than I do at night. But it is probably not healthy two weigh your self two times a day or more. Once everyday is already a lot. And why do you eat dinner so early? What time?

It's dehydration.

Check out your height, too! You will be taller in the morning that you are in the evening. This is because your spine will compact itself.

I think that I would advise you to drink water throughout the night! After all, weight has little to do with your dress size!

What is this thing about weight? I don't care if I weigh 20 stone - as long as I can still fit in to a size 12 dress!

it don't matter if u eat ur dinner very early, it still put on a bit of wieght as it takes 24 hours for food 2 digest. when u wake up the food is digested and getting ready to leave! lol!

We're usually lightest in the morning because we're slightly dehydrated. It doesn't take much water to tip the scales...but it's a good weight. A pint of water weighs 1 pound.

could be because you haven't had water in more than 8 hours due to sleep. water is 2/3 of our body weight. maybe we 'burn' water during the night for energy. II know we do with food. What we don't burn for fuel becomes you know what. this is just a somewhat educated guess.

You will lose moisture as you breathe, especially if you're in a dry climate or during winter. 3 lbs. sounds like a lot, though - that's 3 pints.
